Before You Start Pilates


Before you start group classes, I recommend a 1:1 introduction session. Here we will discuss your goals and what interested you in improving with Pilates, any injuries and/or health conditions & general fitness level as well as introduce the principles of the Pilates Method ready to start your group session. I will also provide you with general and specific modifications &/or focuses recommended for you to get more out of your group class.

Nothing in Pilates should be painful, but you should feel worked. You should enjoy the classes and results as you develop and improve each session with a progressive plan in private tuition &/or classes.
From office workers to counteract time spent in chair hunched over, following or to help prevent injury, post natal, as a postural aid, for neck or lower back pain, shoulder dysfunction, or to improve sports performance. Pilates is for everyone!
